Planning is underway for the 2025 Canadian Orienteering Festival. The festival will be held from August 15 to 24 beginning with the Western Canadian Orienteering Championships, organized by FWOC. The forest portion of the WCOCs will be held on the Beaver Lake map, while the sprint is being planned in the city of Red Deer.
The forest portion of the Canadian Orienteering Championships will be help on a newly mapped portion of Blackfoot Cooking Lake Provincial Park (just east of Edmonton). The sprint will be right in the city.
